Wellsbuilt is a furniture collection and custom woodworking studio operated by Nolan Wells, located in Rhode Island. The collection is ongoing and evolving and draws inspiration from elements of Shaker, Mid-century and Scandinavian furniture design, among others.
Nolan learned woodworking at Maine's Center for Furniture Craftsmanship and primarily works with sustainably sourced domestic hardwoods with natural oil finishes.
When he isn't covered in sawdust, Nolan's often hiking with the family dog, Mossy, or playing guitar. He works and lives in Providence with his wife and their two kids.
LEAD TIMES
Usually ranges from 4-12 weeks but can vary depending on the piece and current production schedule.
CUSTOM
Custom furniture requests—including built-ins and cabinetry—can often be accommodated. Just ask!
CARE
Primary finish is a hard wax oil—durable, earth friendly, low VOC, and food/kid safe. Spills and blemishes can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Avoid solvent-based cleaners.
SHIPPING + DELIVERY
Delivery is free to Rhode Island and SE Massachusetts. Shipping to the Boston metro area is $150 and to New York City is $200. Quotes for all other domestic shipping are available on request.
RETURNS
Because all pieces are made to order, I am not able to accept returns or exchanges. If your piece was damaged during shipping, please contact me immediately.
